Once you have this website set up it is then time to create the articles for your marketing plan. This is where article marketing comes into play. By submitting articles to article directories you begin to create an Internet presence for whatever keywords you happen to be targeting. These keywords are then used to direct traffic to your website in the hopes that enough people visit the site to create income either through page impressions or advertisement clicks.
The Internet is home to many different successful article directories, and it’s important to understand that each one has its own specific set of guidelines that you must follow if you hope to successfully have your articles added to their database. Articles take time to write, so you want to make sure that you’re writing them correctly from the start rather than having to make revisions as you go along. There is nothing more disheartening than the watching all of your submitted articles get rejected due to poor formatting.
After submit your articles you now have to wait about a week for them to be accepted. This process can go faster for people who have established relationships with the directories, but for new members waiting upwards of a week is not unheard of, if not unexpected. Once your articles have been approved it’s time for the most annoying step in the entire process of article marketing. That is to say more waiting. The Internet is slow, despite how fast you may think it works, things actually take a lot of time to propagate across the Internet. So while you may have submitted great articles a week ago it could actually be several weeks before you start to see traffic to your website that comes from your articles.
